Every morning, as he left to begin his day, his wife, Karen, would send him off with that phrase. It wasn’t just a playful goodbye — it was a message, a mindset, a way of carrying oneself through the world with confidence, joy, and a spark of adventure. Although stunningly beautiful, to Karen, being “sexy” wasn’t about appearances. It was about energy, presence, and the way you embrace life—boldly, authentically, and with an open heart.

Karen was the kind of person who could light up a room. She had an effortless grace, a warmth that made people feel seen and valued. When she was diagnosed with cancer, she faced it with the same spirit—with courage, humor, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of each day. Even in the hardest moments, she reminded Roy to find joy, to be present, and to live.
​In 2022, when Karen passed away, she left behind more than just memories—she left a mission. Roy knew that her words, “Have a sexy day,” weren’t just meant for him. They were meant for anyone who needed a reminder to stand tall, to believe in themselves, and to move through life with confidence and positivity.
